This is another seascape from a photo taken on our holiday in Crete. It is done on Sennelier la carte board, which I didn't like at first, but I'm getting used to it now and getting to like it more and more.
my attempt to stop procrastinating and start drawing!

Truly a stunning work!! I will be following your BloG ... I SO need inspiration! WhEEEEE!
This sea scape seems emotionally charged with the colors and shapes you felt. I must tell you I so love the sketches you did of your boat--very free yet full of details and wonderful!
WOW! I have never really tried pastels very much - I'm too heavy handed with them.
You've created such mood, atmosphere and movement in your painting.
Your other pastels are fantastic too. At first glance I thought the painting of the church you posted on the 25th November was a photograph. The highlights in the sea are something else!
Annie you have beautiful work here. It's a joy to scroll through your blog. I hope by now blogging is an enjoyable habit, because it is fun to read your blog, I'll keep reading. Thanks for your comment.
Lovely, Annie. I like the shadows from the clouds on the water.

Super sky!! And lots of movement in the sea - real feeling of a storm coming. Full of atmosphere.
Thanks everyone - I really appreciate your encouragement and comments! I am still learning with pastels but love using them.
